Purple Berry Green Inside. Pokeweed is an herbaceous perennial with multiple red stems. Berries Thornless shrub or small tree with tiny white clustered flowers flowers resemble a tiny honeysuckle.
In the fall gather seeds from very ripe berries. Increases red blood cells. Small white sticky berries cluster close to the stalks.
To a child pokeberries look like grapes.
Bael is a smooth fruit with a woody peel that is colored yellow green or grey. I burst open one of the ripe berries and found it has several little white seeds on the inside. The berries are around 1 cm 039 inches in diameter. The tasty edible drupes grow as globular green fruits that mature to red and then a deep purple color.
