The incident began at approximately 1015 am when a woman called police from a Marathon gas station located near Beardsley Road and Cave Creek Road to report she was afraid of a possible confrontation with her boyfriend 35-year-old Nicholas Cody. At a news conference Friday afternoon police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Morris Jones who was found dead inside the home.
